North Wales Cancer Care have been working with Wyn for two years, gradually developing our existing website. There are ongoing changes as our work in the community progresses, and Wyn has always responded promptly. We are a small charity based in the midlands and have been wanting to migrate our website from a Weebly platform onto WordPress for some time but didn’t have the resources or the expertise to devote to this work. So we engaged Wyn to help us with this task, utilising his experience of working with and configuring WordPress websites. Although he had no previous knowledge of Weebly he was able to quickly identify the process required to undertake the export. He installed and configured WordPress for us on our hosting servers before then importing the Weebly pages into this installation. Once the site had been copied over there was quite a bit of work ( site had around 150 pages ) to do, to ensure the formatting and links for each page were consistent, and Wyn ensured this was done in a consistent and accurate way which meant we had to make minimal changes before we could make the site live.
As part of the migration we also updated our domain name and Wyn was able to advise us on this process, and again when we had set up the new website and wanted to make a further change to the domain name was able to provide guidance on how best to do this without having to change all the links that had already been set up. To help us get up to speed with how to use WordPress Wyn produced a how to guide, which proved very useful and enabled us to quickly gain familiarity with how to use WordPress. After going live Wyn has been more than willing to answer queries and advise on how best to use WordPress.
